I was sick and tired of my clamps shifting around while trying to get a glue up ready. I’d get my pieces all lined up and when I went to bring the clamps together, everything moves and gets all messed up. I searched for solutions and couldn’t find anything that would do what I wanted. So I came up with these.
These stabilizer feet elevate your clamps about 1/2″ off of the surface of your workbench so you can get your glue up laid out, glued, and clamped without worrying about things shifting around on you. This is especially helpful if you’re like me and don’t have a large assembly table to work off of. I can set my clamps in the stabilizers and let the ends hang off the end of my workbench. If you’re familiar with parallel clamps, that means the foot isn’t sitting on anything. Normally this would make your clamps go all wonky and want to tip up. Not with my stabilizer feet. Theses solve that issue completely.
